My life has been driven by different values, but my main three are: perseverance, perfection, and happiness. These values have helped me through many up and downs throughout my life. Being perseverant for me, it means being present and having participation on any event or social gathering. If that fails or I get rejected then trying again and again until that goal is fulfill or replaced by other goal. Having a decent amount of perfectionism drives me even closer to achieving my goals. Why? Being a perfectionist means that you are always trying to exceed the limits of what you are asked to do. In order to succeed you have to be great, but in order to leave a mark on this world you have to aim at perfection. However, being a perfectionist doesn’t …show more content…
Also, I would have to buy different things that she likes such as yoyos or art supplies. However, if in the first store I go there’s no purple printing paper then I would have go to other stores. If in those other stores they don’t have it then I’ll be perseverant and try online website that supply that color of printing paper. Once I head home with the supplies needed for the birthday card, I would start creating the card. However, one of the corners is not pretty enough, so I would modify it until it’s all perfect. Perfection comes in place whenever there’s something that needs fixing, but I could also try and make it better than just fixing it. After the birthday card is ready, I go to my sister’s house and hand it to her. However, if she doesn’t like it or dismisses my effort of making the card for more than 2 hours then I wouldn’t or couldn’t be mad at her. In that situation, I would apply my value of being happy. This means looking out for positive thoughts and being there for her. Also, I would not make the situation about me and my effort, but about her birthday which is not celebrated every
