The title of Christ which I chose was “Our redemption”, I chose this title mainly because I believe that this title covers Jesus’s biggest role to us. He redeemed us from sin, through his death on the cross. This title shows how God became man and then died for us, it shows both the divine and human side of Jesus. The scripture I got this title from was 1 Corinthians 1:30, this passage states how through him(Jesus), we are receiving “wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption”. The title I chose is obviously shown in this reading, that Jesus is our redemption. I think that the title would be an example of High Christology, because “Our Redemption” seems like Jesus was sent down from heaven to redeem us of our sins.
