What Does Myself Mean To Me Essay

One thing that I always hear about myself is how much of a balanced person I am. At first I thought this had to do with my physical ability to balance and that wasn't it. The balance that I identify with is the ability to balance time and effort between my academics, my athletics, and social life. I find myself doing this better and better every year, as I am faced with more strenuous work loads and more responsibilities in my athletics. The teachers and coaching staff at renbrook have helped me become a lot more independent when it comes to managing my own time. After my first year of sports I was able to adapt quickly and shape my schedule accordingly to allow me to prosper in anything I wanted to. Before I was able to balance my time, I …show more content…
That year I created multiple friendships that are still some of my strongest friendships to this day. After I was able to completely balance, my social life, my athletics, and my studies I started feeling really good. The balance in my life just makes me feel complete, with some people you can look at them and say they are all about academics or athletics or maybe all they care about is how popular they are. However, with me, I know that I'm not in one category, I can't be placed in a group just because I'm smart, because I am also athletic. This type of balance is something I have always strived for and it always feels good when I'm told that I am a very diversely skilled person. The balance in my life has opened up many doors, the biggest one to me is my friends. I have been able to make friends with people of very different personalities. I have some friends that are all about athletics and I have some friends that are a wizard in the classroom. Having friends with many different personalities has helped me expand my knowledge even more. As I move forward into a different section of my life I am sure that the balance I have achieved in my life with benefit me
