They are there for me when in need them the most. My mom is always there for me when I need her. My best friend is basically apart of my family, she is a wonderful person and I'm glad she is in my life. I'm super thankful for having a kind and loving family they are always loving and supporting and I could never thank them enough for everything they do for me. I love being kind and loving toward everyone, that's why I put a heart on my mandala. I am always willing to help others. I am always there for anyone. If anyone is having a hard time they can talk to me if they want, because I would be more than willing to help anyone out. I also like making people feel better about themselves. I love to laugh and try to make people laugh. Because if you're negative all the time nobody will enjoy being around you. Everyone has bad days, but we should try to not take it out on others. When it is sunny, I feel like everyone's moods are better. My favorite season is summer. I love being outside and doing things outdoors. I also like summer because I don't have to go to school. I love going on the river, going on vacations, going to water parks, etc. I feel like summer time is always the happiest

Throughout the process of creating my mask, I became aware of who I am. I learned that I am more than what people see on the surface. My mask reflects a lot about me; however, some of the things that I have placed on my mask have a greater importance to me than others, and influence on who I am. My family, my horses, a dream that I have for the future, piano, and why I have the images where they are on my mask, are all things that I take great importance in. Green was one that appeared frequently in this mandala, as well as the other, which makes sense, because Fincher said, “Green symbolizes the principle of natural, healthy growth, and the ability to nurture growing things” (Fincher, 2010, p. 56).…

As a young kid, I would always go to the cabinets in our kitchen to look for food. Every time the doors opened and I saw the canned green beans alongside the uncooked pasta, my mom upstairs would hear me yell, “we don’t have anything to eat”. Being a kid, you really do not think of anyone but yourself. It isn't that kids are selfish, they just have not been taught the art of selflessness. Kids also are not very grateful for what they have because they do not understand the value and privilege of being able to buy toys, clothing, and food.…
