What Does Mandalas Mean

Mandalas are a beautiful and simple way to represent the wholeness of one person, specifically me. Mandalas take form in a circle because it is the most simple and universal shape found in the world––where there will always be a center for us to pay attention to. Creating a mandala could help my peers focus on what makes me whole. When first looking at my mandala, you notice two people making a pinky-promising in the middle. This symbol represents trust, which is the most important thing in my life. Without trust, I would feel alone in this vast, crowded world. Trusting individuals help relieve some stress off my shoulders, by giving me that reassurance that I could tell them anything without being judged. This way, I would not have to face life alone, and I will always have someone to count on. This leads up to my next important thing which is God. What this means is to spread joy, happiness, love, and kindness to others. This is very important and significant in my life and to this world because we all know that life will not always be in our favor. Everyone needs a little sunshine in their life, because you never know what they are going through. You never know if a smile “hi” to a stranger could make their day, because I know for a fact when someone does so to me, it makes me the happiest person alive. I always wanted to make a difference in the world, but if not, a difference to someone’s world.
