Impossible Is Nothing What does it mean to be a consumer who represents Adidas? It means you’re more than just an athlete, you’re someone who works harder than you ever thought was possible, because impossible is nothing to you. “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” (Guler, Irem) As an athlete you are always striving to go further than you did before, break new ground in the world of sports and surpass your limits. That was all Adolf (Adi) Dassler could have ever asked his company to be a supporter of. He wanted his brand to be worn as if it were a medal, by the kind of athletes that aren’t afraid to decimate the limits set for them, the kind that capture the spirit of the Olympics by being inspirational and all in. Thanks to the athletes that sponsor them and encourage consumers to wear their products, Adidas now gets to call themselves one of the most well worn sports brand in the world. Adidas started out very simple yet efficient, like any other sports brand of it’s time.
