Not everyone has been lucky enough to have a loving family. My family is nowhere near perfect, but considering they love me unconditionally and try their best whenever I need them, to me, that's pretty close. I know that they'll be there no matter what. Knowing this encourages me to try new things with a little less fear of failure.

I have two older siblings, a brother and a sister. They have helped me through so much. Yes, we do have our arguments and fights; however, no matter how upset we are at each other, we know we love each other and that we will always be there for one another. Going into middle school was pretty scary for me. I remember my sister was the one that helped me the most to calm my nerves and fears. She told me not to worry and that I would be fine, and I was. At times, my mom doesn't understand some of the things that happen in my life. This is when I go vent to my sister. She understands what happens in my life because she has gone through similar things. Going into high school was even more terrifying. At the moment, the one who has helped me the most when dealing with high school has been my brother. Even before I started freshman year, he was telling me about certain things he would have liked to know when he was a freshman. Even though sometimes he gives me advice that I don't agree with, I still appreciate it. Without all this guidance and support, I would be very lost and probably not be in the extracurriculars I am in right
