Chuck is anticipating on making it known that there will always be obstacles in the way, and people have to overcome them. No matter what life throws in the way, it will fade away soon enough. I will succeed with everything I want to do, no matter who tells me I would not be able to. Finishing high school at Streator High School, graduating college at IVCC, and having a family. With everything that I took in from when I was younger, I realized that people and my background does not define who I am. I define who I am. I decide if I want to get my diploma or get my degree in the career that I want. No one can stop me from what I am striving to become, to make myself become a better person than I was before. Family members and family friends have taught me how to be a better person. They taught me to never give up on myself, and to prove them wrong. To prove the whole world wrong, that I mean something. I have a long way to go to get to where I want to be, but I will never give up; and that is a fact. I have been pushed by my parents to always go for what I want to do with my life. They knew because they did not finish high school, they wanted my siblings and I to graduate from high school and to make a living out of something. They never doubted me in anything that I have done. They have pushed me to do sports, getting good grades, and most importantly, they made me realize that I have to work hard to get where I am going. From their mistakes, they have taught me a hard lesson; but a good
