I do not believe God created something that was imperfect. God is, was, and will always be perfect. Man was created in the likeness of God. Genesis 1:26 (NLT) reads, “Then God said, ‘Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us.” Everything God created was perfect, including mankind. Sin caused the many imperfections, pain, and suffering people endure. He knew that sin would tempt His perfect creation; therefore, He paid for all of our sins. He endured the beating so that we would not have to. 1 Peter 2:24 (NLT) says, “He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right.
