“despite everything I think that all people is good at heart’. not all people are good at heart. There are people who are selfish. During ww2 the Nazis were bad people and didn't like Jewish people. Also that it is hard to work together and not fight with each others.

People are mean at heart because there are people who are selfish. “Im hungry” so when everyone was hungry Mr.Van Daan took all of there food moreover tried to eat it. This proves that people are selfish because when everyone was hungry even the kids he ate there food. So then Mr.Van Daan thinks that it's ok to eat the food because he is a big man so he just eats their food. “ It was a thief” A thief broke into the company building and stole their money and radio. This means that people will do anything to get what they want.No matter how much it hurts them or someone else they just want to get whatever they want. “ There was a blackmail on us” Carl is blackmailing them and they don't give him the money he will tell where everyone is hiding. This proves that people are selfish because he just want the money

“ If they found us they found us” The Nazi might have heard them nevertheless coming to take them away.That the Nazis might be coming to get them moreover take them away because they didn't like their religion. So when they hear something below them and think the Germans are coming to take them away so Anne faints and they are all freaking out. “So dear diary, I must leave you behind now” The Nazis made them leave all of these things and only take clothes. This means that the Nazis didn't care about the jews and just wanted them gone. So Then they can make the perfect society “Your friends are gone the Nazis took them away”. This explains that the Nazis are bad because they take people away because of their religion also they didn't just try to take people away from their religion they killed them in very terrible
