What Does It Mean To Say I M Not Good Enough Essay

No one in this world is picture perfect. I'm certainly far from it but who really is? I have a couple disbeliefs that are always in the back of my mind. Let's begin with, "I'm not good enough." It's a phrase many people deal with because it's so general and can apply to anything in life. When I think about not being good enough I usually tie in school, work, and my relationship with my girlfriend. "I eat too much" makes me feel upset because I know it only adds to my weight. Then I think about how it isn't healthy for someone to be eating as much as I do. Another disbelief I have is, "I don't work out enough." I try to go at least three times a week but work and school tightens up my schedule and it's difficult to keep up my gym regime. Those two disbeliefs tie …show more content…
I always say, "I'm amazing with kids." I say this because I form strong bonds with them at the club. Especially with kids from my club who always want me to play dodgeball with them. Whenever I'm having a problem with my girlfriend Alexis I always say, "Jose, she loves you" and that makes me stop all the time. Those words clear my head and make me look at the bigger picture. This fight is not worth losing each other for. I always say, "Stay calm and breath." I've been practicing breathing methods and they have helped. I watch as other people throw fits and tantrums but it really never helps but makes the situation worse. I stay calm to reevaluate the situation and find a solution. Next thing I say is, "Be the wolf." Don't listen to anyone who doubts you and think you can't reach your dreams. If I have an exam coming up then I will stay up late and out in the extra time to prepare myself. So I can walk into class and earn that grade that I deserve. Finally, "I tell myself that everything will be okay." I've been thrown to the dirt and lost before, but knowing it will all work itself out one day is deeply
