Mr. Musick “The Gift of the Magi” is about Della and Jim. They don't have a lot money and it's about Christmas time. It's a tradition where you give gifts. They wanted to buy something nice for each other but they didn't have money too. So, they take it upon their self to sale their self the buy sell one of their most valuable items to buy each other a gift without them each other knowing. What they valued about each other and bought something for they sold. Loving someone sometimes means giving up something you care about. Della hair isn't all Jim cares about. In the story one of the themes is if you love someone you'll be willing to do anything for them. “let’s put our Christmas gifts away and keep them a while.
