Humility cannot be excluded from a person with integrity. If you still doubt on who that person could be in your life consider humility. A person who does not have integrity is not humble meaning they are someone who expect glory for what they accomplish. They expect attention for what they do. For example, they return extra change given at a store they go in there with a mentality I have to make everyone see what I did let everyone know and they better give me a reward for my actions. A humble person with integrity would simply just walk in and walk out with no expectation of glory or reward and with a simple thank you from the cashier would be enough to make them feel great inside. Integrity is a word many people do not know, it’s a really different word that is unique. The definition states it mean to be fair or be honest. Among those things humility falls with it because a great person is represented when there is humility. Clement Stone once said “Have the courage to say no. Have the courage to face the truth. Do the right thing because it is

Many people mistake the word “integrity” to hold the same weight as the word “honesty;” however, Oxford Dictionary defines integrity as: “the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.” Therefore, we can conclude that being honest is only a part of having integrity, so just because someone says what he or she means, doesn’t mean that this person has integrity. In “The Insufficiency of Honesty,” Stephen L. Carter discusses the misconception that many people have about the difference between honesty and integrity by presenting examples of how people that are completely honest lack a sense of moral behavior. Through a clearly reasoned discussion, Carter raises some insightful points about how honesty alone cannot make someone or some action morally correct.…
