What Does Freedom Mean to Me

What does freedom mean to me. Let’s start from the beginning. The USA won it’s freedom from Britain in 1776 by winning the war. But, we as citizens didn’t get our freedom until the mid 19th century. What freedom means to me is being able to say your opinion without being judged on what we say. It means that I can believe in any religion that I want to believe in. That I can protect myself without being arrested. I Thank the universe for the life I have in this beautiful free country
Freedom is an amazing thing to have. It’s not just given though. Our country had to fight hard for freedom. Many people died trying. The people that never come back from battle are the real heroes.
