Just like every other kid, I was put in many sports to find the one I loved and was passionate about. Although I did not like all the sports my parents put me in, soccer had a huge impact on me. As a little kid it was not as aggressive but I was always looking for competition. Being on a team so young I ended up making lifetime friends. When I got older I was involved in more sports such as volleyball and cross country. Being involved in sports had a mental and physical impact on me. Exercising became my main priority and was an everyday habit. It made my body, appearance and made me have a better self esteem. Exercise is not just about building muscle or losing weight, it is beneficial in many other ways. As I got older, being involved in sports was something I loved. When you have more energy, you are very productive. After I exercise, I like to clean and get many things done. I am such a happier person after I exercise. Just getting off the couch and going for a run or walk around the block can give you energy. You do not have to go to the gym and lift weights to build energy. Just the slightest workout can give you enough energy to not want to go sit back down on the couch for the rest of the day. Juliana Garcia-Halloran , NASM Elite Trainer said, “Once your metabolism increases to keep up with the demand of work, you refuel with healthy foods that in turn provide more energy.” In order to gain energy when exercising you cannot workout and eat fast food, you must keep up on eating healthy. It is not only beneficial to keep you energized, it also helps your body stay healthy and fit. It is easy to slack off when you see your friends eating fast food that looks so good but you need to remember what healthy food does for you
