In To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, tells a tale about a small town that undergo significant changes due to a court case involving a color folk that was accused of raping and beating a white women by the name of Mayella. Scout Finch and Jem Finch live in the small town of Maycomb with their father Atticus Finch, who will be defending Tom Robertson, the black man, in court. Atticus has raises his kids to be open minded and understand that one race should not be treated differently because the color of their skin.
