After talking about how Buddhism thinks about pain and evil. I will talk about how Christianity think about evil. Basically, evil is contradicted to the holy nature of God. Christianity talks about the moral evil, which mean the evil behavior against other people, for example, murder and theft. Besides that, Christianity talks about the evil behavior against God, for example unbelief, idolatry and blasphemy. The reason why people have sin because of they are evil. They did not follow the laws in bible and also they do not follow what God said. In 1 John, 3:4, everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.

After talking about the definition of evil, let’s talk about what the bible describe the devil. In the Bible, there are lots of description on the devil. For example, in Revelation 12:9, the great dragon was hurled down that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. Satan, ancient serpent and the great dragon is the disruption of the devil. Bible describe the devil would entice people to break the law and it would destroy the relationship between the Christian and God. For example, the devil pretend as a serpent and deceive Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. In 1 Peter 5:8, be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. The scripture used a simile to describe what the devil would do to those Christian.

10:20). What is distinct about this “foreign” god is not just that it’s an integrated world system (as described above), but that the source of its power will be the devil himself — not just demons. This is confirmed in Rev 13:2 when it says that “the dragon gave him his power”. Apparently it will be the power of Satan himself that the Antichrist will use to be able to stand against the most powerful armies in the world. Revelation states further in 13:4 "Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?".…

The purpose of this philosophical research paper is to attempt to develop an understanding on the concept of suffering while investigating the problem of evil from a theological perspective using scriptural references from the Holy Bible. Evil is the Absence of Good The Bible teaches that God is a powerful and almighty God. Many people wonder why there is so much pain, suffering, and corruption in the world if there is a presumably good God overseeing it. According to the Bible, God could not possibly cause evil since he is a righteous God.…

This fight is between the Kingdom of God and Satan and people are the combat zone. The battle is obvious in the wars, insurgencies, and crimes that fill the newspapers we read but is also seen in the stresses and fears of all the people, in family fights and the struggling church, in the troubles and mental disorders that afflict humanity today. The human race is in tumultuous times under satanic control, which the Apostle Paul calls, the rulers of the darkness of this world (6:12 KJV)—a very significant phrase. We see in the Bible from beginning to end that all humans without Christ, without exclusion of any, no matter how crafty or accomplished or cultured they may be, are helpless victims in satanic control.…

Despite what statistics and people might say, poverty, opulence, and the environment are only secondary causes of sin. Scripture explains that man sins because of his sin nature, which does not allow him to do otherwise. According to the Bible, evil comes from the heat of a man, not his environment (Genesis 3, 4:3-8, 8:21; Exodus 34:7; Deuteronomy 6:6-9, 32:15; Proverbs 23:29-35; Ephesians 6:4; Romans 3:9-20, 7:7-12). Thus, although situations in an individual's life may prompt his sin nature to display itself, those situations do not cause him to sin in themselves. For example wealth may cause a man's greedy nature to show itself, and he may refuse God.…

Satan was the fallen angel. To use Satan and the word angel in the same sentence is funny. He was once a being deemed to do great things, only to succumb the lowest of the lows. In Paradise Lost, Satan vows to do the exact same thing and makes it his duty to bring ill will to the world and forever be God’s enemy.…
