Character-driven leadership for me is a unique set of moral values, integrity and ethical qualities that inspire me to set up a clear vision which influences people and works effectively in a team of diverse people. As an emerging leader, my character-driven leadership is about my behavior, not position and privilege given to me to serve and better the lives of my people, not an opportunity to satisfy my personal greed.

It has also helped me to stay focus, dedicated, goal-oriented, and tolerant on my daily interaction with people from different backgrounds with diverse ideas and exercising self-discipline.
Describe your leadership activities and impact on your local community to date.
I am a social entrepreneur who lives in Liberia`s largest slum community. Liberia is one of the world's poorest countries, with a formal employment rate of only 15% and over 85% below the international poverty line. In Liberia, youth unemployment is not just a major economy problem but a serious threat to national security. The country is at risk of returning to political instability if the trend of high youth unemployment, high illiteracy, and poverty prevalence continues to grow.
This problem motivated me as a social entrepreneur to establish GIFT 2 Change in August 2006 as youth based incubation center which trains and empowers impoverished youth to become entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders in sectors ranging from agriculture to fashion to renewable energy to reach their maximum potential with the aim of reducing youth unemployment and build a peaceful middle income entrepreneur

We also have young men specialize in Information Technology (IT) to refurbish these damaged computers through this initiative we have set-up seven computer labs in our community freely empowering youth into the digital age as part of GIFT 2 Change social responsibility to our community. However, damaged computers that cannot refurbish are package and ship to china to raise revenue in order to take of staff and GIFT 2 Change incubator center.
The center also has a waste segregation toilet to recycle vegetable waste in combination with human feces to produce quality organic compost for farming purpose in order for our society to be self-sufficient in food production in our community.
My leadership impacts are solving youth unemployment thereby empowering youth into entrepreneurship, career counseling and providing innovative recycling skills as well as solving the problem of environmental pollution thereby collecting wastes from all sectors in our community generating
