I used to care only about myself. My philosophy was always that of “if it doesn't help or hurt me, then why should I care?” A tumultuous first semester of high school only further pushed me into this mindset—if I minded my business, no one would bother me. Yet, one extremely brave question changed my philosophy on life, “will you sit next to me?” It is here that I met an undying pragmatist, a staunch action taker, and, above all, someone who wants my best. Caroline Kreh has been not only a caring central figure in my life, but a thoroughly supportive and wonderful person.
