What does belief mean for human beings?

More than 90% of the people in the world have a religion, 5 big religion. The 5 biggest religions are 1, christianity. 2, islam. 3, Hinduism(Sanatana Dharma). 4, Buddhism. 5, judaism. These beliefs aren't the same, for example christians believe in jesus as their god, islamic people call their god Allah, etc.

In most countries, many people believe in the same religion as their parents until they are adults. Most people believe in gods because they do what the god says and most people do what ever god says. For example, islamic people can't eat pork because Allah said so, and can't drink alcohol, etc. Allah gives people choices, if you don't do what Allah says you will go to hell, if you

They read the bible, they don't really have that much rules, not like islam that they can't eat pork or pray 5 times a day. Some christians pray before they eat. Approximately 2,039,000,000 people follow christianity in the world. Jesus was born as a jew and died as a jew. Christianity is the worlds biggest religion in the world.

Sanatana Dharma people have approximatelly 828,000,000 people around the world. Sanatana Dharma is the third largest religion in the world. Sanatana Dharma people also have rules, the rules are, 1, do not destroy or injure anything. 2, must not steal. 3, must not be envious. 4, must not lie. 5, must not overeat. 6, keep yourself clean as possible, inside and outside.7, be contenting. 8, practice self discipline, tolerance, being patient, and practice mental calmness. 9, educate yourself. 10, try o surrender your mind to the higher power.

The followers of Buddhism are between 230-500 million people. Buddhism is the second smallest religion in the world. China has the most buddhist people in the world, about 244 million people. The second biggest buddhist school is Theravada, most followed in southeast Asia.
