What Does Being An American Mean

Being an American means to be able to have the freedom and the rights you deserve. We should be able to say what we want as long as we don’t hurt anyone and anyone who listens should be able to freely respond to that. An American can be anyone from any nation and shouldn’t be limited to people who were born in the U.S. Americans are able to vote or even be voted for without any sort of bad outcome. Americans should be able to express themselves, say what they want, and even express what they believe in without being discriminated or looked down
