Ludwig Van Beethoven, Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart were few of many innovative composers, but one who stood out from the few and was a prodigy as a young child was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Born on January 27 1756 to Leopold Mozart and Anna Maria, née Pertl in Salzburg, which is the modern day Austria (Sadie). As a child Mozart knew more than his teachers (Herman). Yet his magnificent rise to fame and accomplishments at a young age is similar more present day musical artists whose star had burned out way too soon. The time he passed away, Mozart was considered one of the greatest composers of all time. His music presented an audacious expression, often times complex and incongruous, and needed professional mastery from the musicians who performed it. Mozart’s production remained secure and popular throughout the 19th century, as his life story was written and his music enjoyed constant performances and presentations by other musicians. His work influenced many composers that followed. Mozart perceived and perfected the grand forms of symphony, opera, string ensemble, and concerto that marked the classical period (Hermann). The last year of Mozart 's short life, he had produced much more. It was during this time he composed what are known the his finest symphonies, Nos 39,40, and 41. More compositions he made this year include THe Magic Flute, The Clarinet Concerto in A, the last piano Concerto No. 27 in B-Flat, and of course, the Requiem Mass in D Minor. As a mentor, composer, and unique figure to music till the end of time, he will continue to be an icon in particular fascination for musicians and music lovers
