What Does Basketball Mean To Me

A significant thing that changed my life is the game of basketball. I’t opened up multiple doors for me, Doors that I thought would never be there for me. Basketball caused me to meet many people and I was able to travel the country while playing basketball. The game of basketball made me realize a lot in life, basketball connected me to people that I never thought I would connect with and build a relationship with. Basketball taught me a lot of lessons in life, and to never put all of your trust into one thing because you never know what can happen. I realized that you have to be open minded to multiple options and to not put your all into one goal. I’ve learned to never have one thing in life that keeps you going, because when it fails then your’e going to feel like you don’t have a purpose. Basketball taught me how to develop communication skills, leadership and determination. …show more content…
When that happens it causes you to become angry with yourself, it makes you feel as if there is nothing else to do because you don't know anything else really. Now you feel like a let down towards yourself and people who supported you, feel like that now makes you search for new things to get into.
