The definition of honor is high respect or esteem, my definition of honor is a person that is highly respected for doing something to contribute to the community. Albert Einstein (March 14, 1879 to April 18, 1955) did many things during his lifetime he had many accomplishments and awards. Albert Einstein is highly respected by many people. Albert Einstein was physicist and mathematician who developed the theory of relativity. In 1921 Einstein won a Nobel Prize for physics and the photoelectric effect. The next decade, he moved to the United States after being tracked by Nazis. He also had a major impact on atomic energy. Later Albert Einstein worked on unified field theory. Albert Einstein is considered the best physicist of the 20th century.

Einstein was later able to join the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School because of his excellent scores on mathematics and physics on the entrance exam. Einstein lived with the schoolmaster’s family and loved Winteler’s daughter. Einstein renounecd his German citizenship and was a swiss citizen at the beginning of the new century. After he graduated Einstein had many challenges with finding academic position. Einstein later had time to explore ideas what now is the theory of relativity. By 1905 Albert Einstein had published four papers in the Annalen der Physik. Two were about photoelectric effect and Brownian motion. The other two focused on the equation E=MC2 and the theory of relativity which defined Einstein’s career and the study of physics. In 1921, Einstein won a Nobel Prize for Physics and for the explanation of the photoelectric effect. Einstein wasn’t given a Nobel Prize for the theory of relativity until the following year. Einstein later died at the University Medical Center at Princeton in the morning on April 18, 1955.
