I anticipate Terri having a problem interacting with her peers and teachers at school. If her behavior is not corrected and she continues to behave in such a manner she will most likely fall behind in her studies and will not be able to stay on task for her age, as she will be resistant to authority and direction.

G.). By the time Children reach the age of 5, it is stated that tantrums occur less often (Mahoney D. G., p. 1). By learning methods that redirect Terri’s negative behavior the parents have the ability to correct her behavior. However, if nothing is done Terri will most likely continue the disruptive behavior which will ultimately interfere with ability to properly socialize with classmates.

I think the family is in need of guidance and a plan as to how to address Terri’s social emotional development issue. They need a way to regain control over the household while finding a way to address her problem and possibly introduce consequences. A social worker
