Most bullies share the same or similar characteristics. Some of the characteristics that they share are self preservation, selective generosity and also feeling the need to control and manipulate individuals. Bullies also tend to find a lot of excuses to justify their actions as they always strive to get sympathy and attention. The first characteristic that most bullies share is self preservation. Bullies know that being held accountable for their action would put them at risk . They always try to flip the situation on their pairs or other people who are known to be enemies to make their actions less obvious. They also preserve themselves by being very devious, this is a way to keep them guarded and always on the alert for any possible threats.
