I learned that I really need to educate myself more on cultural differences as I did not score very well. I also learned that when bringing in an interpreter I should look directly at the patient every time I speak rather than going back and forth from the interpreter to the patient.
2. How would you describe your family's culture?
I would describe my family's culture as being a hard working and thankful one. Growing up I was taught to work for what I want as nothing is given to me. I was also taught to be thankful for what I have because someone always has it worse. My family also believes in "ojo" which could be defined as "evil eye".
