What Did Women Do During The Great Depression

During what had seemed like the end for most families life stock of money, most families got very depressed and went into poverty and this time of the world was no laughing matter and the name of this time was called “The Great Depression”. During The Great Depression everyone was in deep trouble , even people that were rich , and especially farmers. The reason Farmers and rich people got it the worst is because most rich people would put their money in the bank and then farmers would go to the bank and get a loan of money. Sadly then the Stock Market Crash of 1929 had happened and then farmers were in serious debt and couldn't pay back the bank and then the rich people and anyone else that put their money in the bank would never get their money back. Due to the stock market crashing everyone started going went poverty and then the United States became even harder to live in ,with everyone being poor and unable to earn money so they could buy food. Woman wanted to then start having equal rights as men because they saw these things as unfair. So then white and black woman struggled through this while black and white men were also struggling but in war. So as you may see men and woman had to suffer at home and at war. Some woman even wondered what would happened if their man at war would die and some of them shut down and were unable to help their family.
Children had also suffered due to them never being in these types of situations . In Conclusion lots of families had suffered during the Great depression. Most of the suffering was because the Stock Market Crash of 1929 and the suffering did not only go to one race but it went to all the people of the united states.
