I wanted to learn more about WWII because I think that it's one of the worst things that happened to the world and what Hitler did was beyond evil. I want to know why it happened so if there is ever a chance it would happen again I might be able to recognize it. I originally thought that the Nazis were the only reason that the war started but there were many other reasons.
The things that led to the Second World War were the Treaty of Versailles, Japanese Expansion, fascism, Hitler and the Nazis, the Great Depression, and appeasement.
My original question was: What led to the Holocaust? But after a few days I found that there would be a lot more to write about if I made the question more general, so I changed it to: What led to World War Two? I was more interested in the Holocaust but it wasn’t a question that I could write a whole paper on and WWII tied into those reasons. The search took a week and a half and I found all of it online. The first few days were more about the Nazis and Jews but that was ok when I changed my question because they were most likely the biggest reason the war started. I did all of my research online and there are a lot of trustworthy history websites on the interweb. I would’ve watched a documentary or read a book, but there wasn’t enough time, where instead I could just look up exactly what I was looking for on google and I would have the answer a lot
