What Circumstances Led to World War 1?
World War 1. It is the world’s first global conflict. it was an event that began on 28 August 1914 that caused almost 10 million deaths in Europe, therefore almost killing off a generation of Europeans in the end of the war November 11 1918. 4 years of fighting and cruelty. It ended empires in Europe to turn to communism and become a totalitarian stalin in power. it pitted the central powers of Germany, Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire against the Allied forces of Great Britain, France, Italy, Japan, Russia and The United States. Before The “Great War” an event must have happened to start it. There are lots of events that happened before the war started. A few events that immediately caused or triggered the first world war or the great war was the Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife of Austria. Not only his death, a few other things such as The Alliance System, Nationalism, Imperialism and Militarism was also a cause of the war.
