Do you know what caused the Titanic disaster? I know what caused it- actually not a what, but a who caused it. I am getting the information from the book Exploring the Titanic. Here are two things and reasons why the Titanic ended up sinking. First, the captain probably assisted with the sinking. I bet he helped cause it for three reasons. First, on page 18, it says that he posted the first iceberg warning on the bulletin board and did nothing about it. Second, on the same page, it says they were going full speed and the captain didn’t have them slow down. Third, on the same page again, he didn’t have them make a detour around the icebergs. He could have paid attention to the warning, slowed down, and made a detour. Therefore, the Titanic
