What causes laziness? Laziness can have a negative impact on a persons’ life. A person who is lazy may push their work aside or even give it to someone who is dedicated and driven to complete their assignment. What does being lazy mean? A person who would rather lay on the couch all day would be considered to be lazy. The unwillingness to accomplish simple everyday tasks is laziness in its purest form. People who are poor may be deemed as being lazy regardless of how hard they work day and day out to make ends meet. People with psychological disorders are called lazy by ignorant people who fail to distinguish the difference between the two. Someone who has been diagnosed with depression does not necessarily mean they are lazy. Depression is a complex psychological disorder that affects more people every day. …show more content…
We all have our own defintion of what we think it means but what causes laziness? What causes people to procrastinate assignments? What causes the urge to lay on the couch all day? Why are people so apathetic when it comes to school and work? Many things can cause a person to become lethargic. A student who is considered to be diligent and hard-working may start to slack off after a certain period of time. This can lead to their teacher wondering what happened. The student may become unmotivated after months and months of putting in all of their effort. A person may question their purpose in life. Someone who hasn’t found their purpose in life may sit back and wonder why they’re in a particular job. The fear of the unknown may cause laziness because they fail to see the purpose. Parents who are lazy can have a major impact on their children. Children look up to their parents and if the child notices that their parent does nothing all day. This can cause the child to grow up to be exactly like their parent. Lack of motivation, fear of the unknown, and a person’s upbringing can cause
