What Causes A Student To Fail College By Being Unprepared

I as a student myself, have witnessed many other students begging the Professor to give them extra points to raise their grade. Many will cry stating that they did not realize an assignment was due, or that they had forgot the assignment on their night stand. Many students know how to pass, but what they all overlook is how easy it is to fail. Failing a class may seem preposterous for some students, for others it comes as a second nature. By following a few simple guidelines a student can successfully fail college by forgetting assignments, not studying, and being unprepared. In order for a student to fail college, one step they must accomplish is repeatedly forgetting assignments. Many students who fail to bring their materials to class are often unable to take proper notes, look in their textbook, or turn in assignments. Whenever a student does not have their textbook they are unable to participate in class discussions, or follow along in the chapter. In many college classes Professors may ask students to answer questions in a chapter, or look at the material on a specific page, if students do not have their materials than they are unable to participate. Students who forget their materials often fall behind and have a difficult time catching back up. At times, Professors may request students to bring scantron sheets to class for a test, or quiz. If students fail to bring them, they may end up getting a zero unless they have a friend that will allow them to borrow one. Being unprepared for class has many downfalls, students forget when assignments are due, neglect studying for tests, and are often falling behind.
