What Capital Mean To Me Essay

What does capital mean to you? I am not talking about the city where the seat of government is. Capital means to me wealth, assets, and possessions that are not tangible. Everyone is born into a certain rank and that decides their future capital. Our physical capital, human capital knowledge, and social capital are things that will greatly impact our lives.
Like most of America, I grew up middle class. Not to be confused with someone who always had it easy, but I have experienced brief times when my family was very poor and times when I was literally eating off of a silver spoon. I would like to believe that my experiences on both sides that I am more appreciative of small things. In all actuality, since I have experienced having everything my main goal is to make sure my daughter has everything and never experience the lows I had to go through because of my family’s actions.
Thinking of something that I am good at was a little difficult for me. I could have easily mentioned something like cooking, mathematics, or singing but those are not talents that are things I want to take into the real word, they are more like hobbies. Something that I am good at is talking with people. Although my communication skills could use some improvement

Growing up in small towns all of the people are usually the same. My social group is small because I have never been the type to associate with a lot of people. It took me a total of three to five minutes creating that list of social capital, so it was hard for me to understand why others were having such a hard time. Every lesson or skill that was taught to me was always taught by someone much older, so even though I have friends who are around my age they have not really taught me anything that I would like to hold on to. It was always the people like my grandparents, teachers, aunts, or uncles that taught me life skills that I hold on
