The first step in achieving my goals is to attend college. I have applied and been accepted to Susquehanna University. The Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna is ranked in the top 5% of all business programs worldwide, and they are one of less than a dozen residential liberal arts colleges to have earned AACSB accreditation. This university is well suited for my personal development and will help me attain a degree backed with excellence. Ross School of Business is another pathway I would be thrilled to be involved with. As a student who is intrigued by the procedures that go into maintaining a business, the business school at the University of Michigan is somewhere that I could gain knowledge, and access a plethora of opportunities. Some of the numerical facts which excite are the number of graduate programs available, the 70+ clubs and organizations involved with the school, and incredible amount of graduates who are involved with major companies and organizations around the world. The enormity of options available to students involved with the business school is a quality which captivates me, as I know that almost anything I intend to further myself in is supported by the curriculum and programs available. The main reason why I think that HACC is the best choice for me is because of the cost. The rates per credit are around $250 and that is for in-state residents. The total cost for a commuter would be around $13,750 for a student who is full time, which means they are taking 12 credits per term (Stager). This price of $13,750 includes the price of books, supplies, food, and transportation and it is an average price for all HACC students (HACC.edu). I think that I could easily cut some of the cost by trying to buy my books online for a cheaper price or even eating at home to save a lot of money.…

As a recent graduate of Bethel University’s College of Professional studies, I plan to continue the momentum that I have obtained in order to achieve my degree of Master’s in Business Administration. I plan to use the wealth of knowledge that I have gained in recent years of studying in the online community to assist me in this pursuit of my graduate degree. The platform that is used in the MBA program is similar to the one of the undergraduate programs. By completing both my undergraduate and graduate degree through similar platforms I will be able to focus the majority of time on my studies without the distraction of needing to adjust to a new platform. Recently graduating with honors at a 4.0 GPA and a Bachelors in Organizational Leadership has been one of my greatest accomplishments.…

Keeping my three personal and professional goals realistic, I would have to say a personal goal is to finish school at SNHU with a 3.0 GPA or above. I think a way for me to accomplish this goal is to stay focused on the tasks at hand, maintain a good relationship with my advisors and to utilize some of the tutoring options that are available to me as a student. Another personal goal is to work on myself, mentally. I cannot be a good mom or wife when I have the stress, anxiety and depression that I do. A way to help accomplish this goal is to not only start speaking with a psychiatrist (first appointment is August 4th) but to also have my thyroid checked.…

Einstein once said, “If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.” I look at this quote as inspiration as to what it would take for me to consider my life successful in 30 years. I think what Einstein is trying to say is that life is too short to worry about what others think and constantly be trying to accumulate better “stuff”. To be truly happy one needs to look at all of what life has to offer and decided what they want out of it and not what others tell them they want. Personally, I view life as a series of experiences, some good some bad, but I view all these experiences as new opportunities to learn and grow.…

Just like many of my peers, I came to college in order to allow myself a better and more option-filled future to do whatever it is that I decide to set my focus on. However, to obtain the right education and experiences to enable this, goals (both short-term and long-term) must be set. My short-term goals include making A’s in all of my courses this semester, securing an internship for the summer involving animals, and acing all of my chemistry 101 tests. As for my long-term goals, I want to get accepted into veterinary school, maintain a 3.5 or higher GPR as I get my undergraduate degree, and to positively impact others lives with my work.…
