I like doing the highs and lows first as like an ice breaker, but I don’t like to take the quiz before our class discussion or questions. I understand why it is set up this way, in order for the students who didn’t read to get an opportunity of understanding. However, I would like to have my questions about the reading answered prior to taking the quiz. I just feel that my understanding of the text is sometimes a little fuzzy and that can lead me to struggle drastically on the quiz. Yet, once we start the questions and discussion, I know the answer and I get slightly upset because I become aware as to what I was missing in my understanding and immediately know I answered the question incorrectly.
