In this essay I will be talking about women's rights in the Middle East. I will also compare the Middle Eastern countries, such as Iran and Syria, to the United States and how different they give freedom to women. Women's rights vary from countries in the Middle East by their family code, physical abuse, and ownership rights.
There are many different types of family codes in the Middle East. In Iran, 18 percent of girls at the age of 15 to 19 are already married, divorced, or widowed. Many in Iran have an uncaring attitude towards family protection, unlike Israel where women have a highly appreciative act towards family.
