The first challenge is discrimination which limits peoples’ possibility of access to employment. Approximately 25% of people with disability in Australia are from the non-English speaking background, but only 5% of people with disability using disability services are from CALD background (National Ethnic Disability Alliance, 2010). They feared of not being understood, which prevent them from seeking help from organisations, disability services, and would rather turn to their families (FECCA, 2015). Also, people with disability from CALD usually do not have enough knowledge of disability services (Shanley et al., 2012). In some culture people with disability get very limited support from the government, and they may not know the existence of some disability services funded by the Australia government (Zhou, 2016). Also, in some cultures, people held the norms about being care by the family, and tend to rely on family not external services (Shanley et al., 2012). Therefore, people with disability from CALD communities feel fear not only because of language barriers, but also due to limited knowledge and their cultural
