Sure, it’s quite difficult to hear Presley music within this new decade of pop, rap, R&B, and rock ‘n’ roll of the now in radio stations because his music is mostly played and listen to people in the age frame of 40 and up year old’s and it’s the same factor when it comes to Freud’s theories because his theories do not appear in top research journals. However, Freud has undergone a lasting impact of Freudian theories on current researchers such as personality, clinical, developmental psychology, and even areas outside psychology such as sociology, political science, and religion which is, in fact, indelible when it comes to Presley rock ‘n’ roll music impact. The reason why Freud still exert an influence on the study of personality according to Miserandino is because Freudian theories provide a compelling framework which ponders our mysterious selves because Freud’s claims that the unique but hidden self is revealed in our unconscious behavior subverted the Victorian repressiveness of the day; another reason is because Freud suggested that personality could change which resonated with the sense of opportunity and possibility in America, and finally no other paradigm has emerged to conquer Freudian thought (Miserandino
