There are several opportunities for the organization, which include; the unification of the windows 10 operating software, in such a way that it will be able to accommodate all upgrades of the other versions, windows 8/8.1 and windows 7 for free. Previously the company had relied on regular updates that the various users of its windows version had to constantly update for free, but a large number of the clients were dissatisfied with this, and they either opted to stick with the good enough operating systems, or stuck with their old version. The company has also been able to grow its office 360, which is constituted by its subscription based cloud services, and Azzure, and this has seen a growth in its fortune. It also a very sound brand reputation, with its entire product known as of top quality, and also resilient, and in touch with the consumer needs. The company also has the advantage of a strong financial performance, which enables to penetrate almost all markets with little barrier challenge, and also to implement an ambitious marketing and advertising strategy. This notwithstanding the company has various weaknesses which include its overdependence on the sale of iPhones, as the company has its Mac, and Macintosh operating system performing averagely in the markets, taking in consideration that it is a high-end brand, only affordable to the rich, affluent, and also the top middle class tier. The company faces several potential threats in its operations, and they include; the intensifying level of competition the company is facing in its traditional markets is likely to keep eating into its profits. The dollar has over the recent years gaining ground against a good number of other world companies and this is likely to impact on the operations of the company, as it has a dependence on the foreign markets, like the European Union.
