Introduction:
The Crime Control model and the Due Process Models are both models that used to convict people in the criminal justice system more specifically in the court system. Both of these models are extremely crucial because depending on which one you choose it can help an innocent person stay free or let a criminal go free based off a technicality.

These type of crimes fall under this model because of the harsh punishment and also the trial will be processed quickly. Some crime that falls under The Due Process Model is position of marijuana and people who got a DUI or a DWI. These crimes fall under this model because instead of punishing them harshly they can just get rehabilitated so that won’t happen again.
The model is best situated for society: I think the best model overall for society would be the Due Process Model. First, because it protect our rights as a U.S. citizen. Secondly, because even though each court case will take longer it shows that each court case will be studied carefully so there will be little to no mistakes. Another, reason is that it limits what police officers can do in the court. Lastly, because the defendant is innocent until proven guilty.
The Unrivaled Model: I believe that both the Due Process Model and The Crime Control Model are great models, but it highly depends on the crime that the defendant is being accused of. While my model is a combination of the two. The key value would be protecting the rights of the
