The socioeconomic condition of the family is a very important factor in child health. The physical and intellectual development of children varies with the intellectual development of children varies with the socioeconomic status of the family. Environment also affects on child’s health that is various illnesses cause like infections, accidents, infestation etc from environment. Material and Method was with a, non experimental approach was used for the present study. A cross sectional survey design was used under which mothers of under five children were selected with non probability purposive sampling technique. They were instructed in their homes to prepare oral re hydration solution with sugar and salt to use this at the onset of diarrhea. A study was conducted after ten months to evaluate the knowledge and use of oral re hydration solution, 68% had some knowledge of oral re hydration therapy. Only 30% knew how to prepare oral re hydration solution at home. More over there is a need for constant reinforcement knowledge.6
II. MATERIAL AND METHODS A, non experimental approach was used for the present study. A cross sectional survey design was used under which mothers of under five children were selected with non probability purposive sampling technique. Total 200 mothers having under five children were selected for present study. Participant structured Observational technique was used after validation. The data collected was done in selected rural areas (Sirasgarh, Dulyani and Barara) of Ambala, Haryana. Data collection was done with evaluation of practices technique of mothers.
