What Are The Similarities Between The Story Of An Hour And The Interlopers

There are two stories, The Story of an Hour and The Interlopers, that have many similarities. They are very different stories, but there are themes in both of them that are the same. The Story of an Hour is about a woman (Louise Mallard) who has heart trouble. She receives word that her husband is dead, she realized that she could do whatever she wanted because she was freed from her marriage. She has a few minutes of overwhelming joy. Louise goes downstairs, and lo and behold, her husband walks in the door. Louise dropped dead from the shock and surprise that she was not free after all. The Interlopers is about two men, Ulrich von Gradwitz and Georg Znaeym, whose families have been rivals for generations. The men stumble upon each other
