The Jewish and Palestinians have a different knowledge and understanding of Israel because of religion, and how each parent raised them.Anyone will be able to tell the different views of Bashir and Dalia. In the Lemon Tree, Bashir responds to a question that Dalia asks for western powers in Israel. Bashir answers her saying that it was first to get rid of the jews in Europe. Then, to rule the Middle East through government and suppress the Arabic world. Dalia comments back and says that there are good reasons for this, which is to protect the Jews from being threatened and persecuted.
