In Egypt and Mesopotamia shared practices, ideas, qualities, and characteristics. An example of this is they both had the same belief in many gods. The belief of gods they had was Polytheism. Another thing they had the same was their writing systems. Mesopotamia had Cuneiform and Egypt had Hieroglyphics. These writing systems are alike because they both started after pictographs. One more similarity is they are both by rivers. Mesopotamia means between two rivers and that's where it is located, Egypt is along the Nile river.
