People dying in Syria and getting rejected when seeking help in European countries. Innocent black people being killed on the street by police in the US. Far-right political parties gaining popularity in the EU. The list goes on and on and writing it all out would take a long time.
There is so much happening around the subject of racism and it’s hard to look past some of the obvious racial differences in todays society. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you live, you have probably noticed the commotion. I’d like to say that it’s so much better now than it was 10 or 20 years ago, but really, I can’t. Of course, we are far from the days of slavery and apartheid, but there is still so much more to be done.
