Nominee to the Supreme Court Judges Among the nine potential nominees to the Supreme Court judges, Senator J. Danforth Ellis is the most appropriate one. Here are several reasons about my consideration and why I choose Senator J. Danforth Ellis.
First of all, Ellis graduated from the Yale University, one of the best Law School in the United States, and get the J.D. degree. Ellis was the member of the Senate Judiciary Committee from 2004 till now. The committee has a broad jurisdiction relating to federal criminal law, human rights, immigration law, Internet privacy etc. In order to became a member, one need to master in Law. Another primary responsibility of the Committee is to conducting hearings prior to the Senate votes on confirmation of federal judges

Danforth Ellis tended to be in the middle of liberal and conservative but slightly to the liberal side. He rated 40 on the ABA 0-100 liberal to conservative scale as a Senator. Ellis supports gun control, free trade, gay marriage and civil union, but opposes to make partial birth abortion illegal. He had a similar point of view as the government. Compare to Ellis, Judge Stephanie Jackson is also a Democrat but she is too liberal (top 10 liberal who are running the America By Fox News). It better to choose the nominee who can hold their opinion but the same time not at the extreme.
Finally, Senator J. Danforth Ellis has a positive character report from FBI and is about the right age. Supreme Court deal with the most controversial and complicated cases, which means the judge need to be experienced. Born in 1955, Ellis has enough experience to be a Supreme Court judge and is energetic to work hard as a Supreme Court Judge. Unlike Judges C. Vivian Cooper, at the age of 38, has little experience to be the Supreme Court Judge.
Consequently, based on the four reasons above, Senator J. Danforth Ellis is the most appropriate nominee to be the Supreme Court
