What Are The Positive Effects Of European Imperialism On Africa

European Imperialism in Africa was taking place in the 19th centuries, When all the countries came together to talk about how they will divide Africa fairly it was called the Berlin Conference. The Countries involved was Germany, Belgium, Spain, France,Britain, Italy, and Portugal. The Berlin Conference took place in 1884-85. The conference was convened by portugal but led by otto von bismarck. He was the Chancellor of the newly united Germany. The negative effects that the conference had on Africa was the loss of independence, slavery, disunity among africans. Also resource and deterioration of the African cultures. The positive effects that happened we're the introduction of the trade, education, new religion and new administration system.
