I believe personal success is finding a happy niche in life. The human spirit will never be satisfied with traditional indicators of success, such as money, power, and enhanced social status. A janitor and a CEO can be equally successful, if they are personally content. If I can find a profession where I feel fulfilled, as though my work is making a difference, and I enjoy working most days, I will be successful, personally and professionally. The nonfiction story, Spare Parts, by Joshua Davis follows four immigrant students who beat the odds and win a national robotics contest.
