In the Middle Ages, they had a weekly market where the local bakers, cooks, brewers and winemakers prepared food. People, from knights to peasants, watched acrobats, jugglers, fire-eaters and rope walkers perform. They also listened to storytellers and musicians. Some instruments that the musicians might play would be flutes, violins, harps and drums. The people in the Middle Ages also had a lot of celebration going on. Each month were celebrated by religion with feasts and festivals.
